GINAF-

i think my reading fever is back.

i just wanna buy 87647612906269747874211134789764374256734 books.
and just read and read and read and...yeah, ... read.
i love reading.
i get to block out stuff at least for awhile and enter into someone other person's world and really imagine it all.
writers fascinate me.
it's really amazing how people are able to describe things and events in such a manner that you can actually picture it really clearly in your mind, and every line that you read adds something new to that picture.
and that same picture would stay in your mind even after you've finished reading-it's like a mental photo taken of the book. idk how to explain it.
hahah.

all i gotta do now is to wait for wednesday to pass.
my projects would be done by then and i'd have like much more time.
oh . and.
i gotta save $$$.
and not eat so much.
ahaha.
like for example, instead of ordering rice and soup and mee soto and lontong and noodles like i did for lunch today, i should just order chicken rice.
smth like that lah.
hahah

speaking of books.
i just missed the MPH EXPO SALE.
like OMG):
i spent my last 8 dollars on donuts and tea leaf eggs!
damn.
hahahha.
i could've bought a book!
urghhhh
hahh

anw.
a few weeks back, ps khong told us to give to the lovesingapore fund to help those in need and everything.
and he told us this story of a lady who came from a muslim village.

she had been newly converted and hence was being ostracized by everyone, including her family members.
to punish her, they took away all her possessions and left her with nothing but the clothes on her back and her pair of shoes.
the pair of shoes that she was wearing was given to her by someone when she couldn't afford a pair.
she asked the Lord, and He sent them to her.
she was later chased out of the village.
so, she walked to wherever her feet took her, and finally, after a few months of walking, she found herself in a city.
she attended a service where the pastor of the church encouraged the people to give generously to those in need after delivering his sermon.
many people came down and laid their money down on the piece of cloth that was laid in front.
some wrote cheques, others gave cash.
some gave in thousands of dollars, while others gave in tens.
this lady however, danced all the way down the isle, took off her shoes, and laid them on the cloth.
the very same pair that was given to her, the very same pair that she used to walk all the way from her village to the city.

i had 35 bucks in my wallet, and i gave all but 5.
my dad had just given me the 50 that morning, and it was supposed to last for the week.
yes, i survived on the 5 dollars for 3 WHOLE days.
and on the fourth day, i was looking in my bag for smth, and i found 40 dollars in a small compartment.
believe me when i say that i could and CAN not remember when i put that 40 in there.

maybe i didn't at all.
